Tomorrow is fresh

"Tomorrow is fresh, with no mistakes in it"

***That's Ms. Stacy talking to Anne Shirley for those of you who aren't as obsessed with Anne of Green Gables as I am***
*And yes, sweet BabyGirl is named Anne with an "e"*

Can you tell I'm on a roll here with my New Year/New Beginnings theme?

And what is more fresh than a baby?
My baby, of course!
Just five months old, this sweet child has changed my life.
Before she was born I was worried that being a mother would change me and that I wouldn't recognize myself.
But instead, it's as if being her mother has helped me fully become all that I was meant to be.
I think all my non-mom readers (and maybe even some of y'all who do have kiddos) just threw up in your mouths.
Sorry about that.
I know I'd want to, if it wasn't so true.
I swear every experience I've ever had and every song or story I've ever learned was all in preparation for her benefit.
No really.

She's starting to have the most amazing little personality.
She's sweet and friendly and smiley
but also choosy (which I not so secretly love)

 She's a champion sleeper!
With exception of a lengthy four month growth spurt she goes 12 bliss full hours a night.
She loves her Sophie giraffe and anything else she can put in her mouth.
She'll be so embarrassed to read this one day, but her favorite is licking things and sticking her feet in her mouth.
What can I say, my child is talented!

We recently tried rice cereal at 5 1/2 months and she hated it!
She loved her high chair and spoon just not so impressed with the content.
Oh, well.
I've mentioned before the child's got a pretty sophisticated palate!

Oh, my dear sweet BabyGirl.
I love you more with every passing minute!
